Answer: slope = 2

Explanation:

The formula for calculating slope is given as :

m = (y_(2)-y_(1))/(x_(2)-x_(1) )

x_(1)=2

x_(2)=4

y_(1)=-5

y_(2)=3

substituting into the formula , we have :

m = (3-(-5))/(4-2)

m = (8)/(2)

m = 2

Therefore : slope = 2
