Simple area working out:
Area of a triangle: L x W
———
2
Area of a square: L x W
17 (L) x 17 (H) = 289cm^2
289
——- = 144.5cm^2
2
There are 4 triangles so:
144.5 x the amount of triangles (4) = 578
Add everything together:
578 + 289 = 867
Answer: 867
