Solution:

Surface area formula:


SA = 2(lw+wh+lh)

Substitute the given values.


4362 = 2(36*21 +21 * c+36 * c)


4362 = 2(756+21 c+36 c)


4362 = 2(756+57c)


4362 = 1512+114c

Subtract 1512 from both sides.


4362- 1512 = 1512+114c - 1512


2850=114c

Divide by 114 on both sides, we get

25 = c

Height = 25

Volume = length × breadth × height

= 36 × 21 × 25

= 18900

Volume of rectangular prism is 18900 cubic yards.
