How many moles of MgO are produced when 7. 2 moles of O2 react with excess Mg

2Mg + O² => 2MgO

according to stoichiometry:


\frac{no {}^(2) }{1} = (nmgo)/(2)


nmgo = no {}^(2) * 2 = 7.2 * 2 = 14.4

Note that n stands for the number of moles.
