B) Observe that, from 0 to 0.2 you move one units to get to 0.2.

From 0 to 2, on the number line with intervals of 0.2, you move 10 units from 0.

This means that:


2 = 0.2 + 0.2 + 0.2 + 0.2 + 0.2 + 0.2 + 0.2 + 0.2 + 0.2 + 0.2

This gives us:


2 = 0.2(1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1)

Then finally we have:


2 = 0.2(10)

By the commutative property of multiplication:


2 = 10 * 0.2
