To answer this, you need to multiply x-4 by 2x. I would use the distributive property. So, I would to 2x(x) then add that to 2x(-4)

2x(x) = 2x^2

2x(-4) = -8x

so then you would do 2x^2 - 8x, which is your answer

The ^ means to the power of so basically 2x is squared
