Write the standard equation of a circle with center (−9, −4) and radius square root of 5 .

(x – 4)2 + (y – 9)2 = 5

(x – 9)2 + (y – 4)2 = 5

(x + 4)2 + (y + 9)2 = 5

(x + 9)2 + (y + 4)2 = 5

Answer: The answer is the 4th,
(x+9)^(2) +(y+4)^(2) =5. When it comes to circle and plugging it into an equation, you flip the signs (I know, the trickery) so if it is positive 9 it would be negative 9 in the equation.
