Since we know that the area = pi*r^2

Radius = diameter/2

The diameter of our circle = 8 which means that the radius is 4.

Let's plug that into our area formula

A = pi * (4)^2 = 50.24

Answer:

50.24

Explanation:

The radius is half of the diameter so it's 4 then you square 4 and plug it in.

3.14 x 16= 50.24
