Answer:

x = 9 + 1/3

Explanation:

(2x+13)=(8x-43)

We move all terms to the left:

(2x+13)-((8x-43))=0

We get rid of parentheses

2x-((8x-43))+13=0

We calculate terms in parentheses: -((8x-43)), so:

(8x-43)

We get rid of parentheses

8x-43

Back to the equation:

-(8x-43)

We get rid of parentheses

2x-8x+43+13=0

We add all the numbers together, and all the variables

-6x+56=0

We move all terms containing x to the left, all other terms to the right

-6x=-56

x=-56/-6

x=9+1/3

You could either factor them or put them into y=mx+b :)
