Use algebra to find the point at which the line f(x)=-5/3x+4/3 intersects the line h(x)=1/5x+4/3

The point x=0 y=4/3 I.e (0,4/3)

Explanation:

To find interpoint we use this knowledge

For the same value of x, functions f(x) and g(x) have the same value. So we need to find x. We will find it ftom this equation:

f(x)=h(x) i.e.

-5/3x+4/3=1/5x+4/3

-5/3x-1/5x=4/3-4/3

-28/15x=0

So we can conclude that x=0

So f(0)=h(0)=4/3
