Answer:

3000 books

Explanation:

Let's make a proportion

We know 60 books, out of all the books(unknown or x), equals 2%

60/x=2/100

Cross multiply

2x=6000

Divide by 2 on both sides

x=3000

So the library has 3000 books

Hope this helps! :)

answer

3000 books

step-by-step explanation

set up equation where books = total * percent

books = 60

percent = 2% = 0.02

plug in values

60 = total * 0.02

divide both sides by 0.02

60/0.02 = total

total = 3000
