Answer: It was terrible, they owed 33 million dollars for the cost of damages from WWI. Not only did they owe money, some years later the Great Depression hit everywhere.

Explanation: In the Treaty Of Versailles Germany was blamed for WWI, they had to pay 33 million dollars, took away Germany territory and over-sea colonies and they reduced the size of the nations army.
