1. If a circle has a circumference of 62.8 in, what is the radius of the circle?

2. A circle has a circumference of 34.54 cm, what is the diameter of the circle?

Circumference = pi x 2 x radius

Circumference = pi x diameter

1. 10.0 units

62.8 = pi x 2r

2r = 62.8 / pi

r = 62.8 / 2pi = 31.4 / pi = 10.0

2. 11.0 units

34.54 = pi x d

d = 34.54 / pi = 11.0
