If the legs of an isosceles right triangle are 5 inches long, approximate the length of the hypotenuse to the nearest whole number.

you will use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the hypotenuse. You will use the formula. The C will maintain as C and the A will be 5 and the B will be 5 as well because those are the known sides of the legs. Your answer should be approximately 7.07. but as a whole number it will be 7. Hope this helped :)
