IQR aka interquartile range is just taking Q3-Q1 and to find Q3 and Q1 you first need to find the median

First order the numbers
106,127,129,132,135,138,140,158

Now find the median (find the middle number)
It’s 132 and 135 so just add them together and divide by 2 so 133.5

Now to find Q1 you take the left overs from the first part of the medium and find the middle number

It’s 127 that’s the Q1

Now to find the Q3 you do the same thing but the upper half of the left overs

138,140,158

Q3 is 140

Now that we know our Q1 is 127 and our Q3 is 140 we use the equation Q3-Q1
