Y=Mx+b is slope intercept form so mx is the slope which is 1 (even though you don’t see the 1) and the b is the y intercept so that is 8 (0,8)

Answer:

Slope: 1

y-intercept: 8

Solution:

  • The given equation is written in slope-intercept form, which looks like so:
  • y=mx+b
  • In the above formula, m stands for the slope, and b stands for the y-intercept.
  • Notice that the slope is the coefficient of x (the number next to x) and b is the y-intercept.
  • Therefore, the slope is equivalent to 1, and the y-intercept is equivalent to 8.

Hope it helps.
