The two species belong to the same kingdoms, yet only two of them are different. They are unable to reproduce and mate.

Florida panther and bengal tiger:

The child of a male tiger and a jaguaress is known as a tiguar. A lion and black jaguar hybrid (male) and a tiger and black jaguar cross (female) have been reported roaming on Maui, Hawaii. There have been no confirmed tiger/jaguar hybrids, and the description fits a liger.

Hybrids can be produced when tigers and lions mate. "Liger" is the result of a successful mating between a male lion and a female tiger. And "Tigon" is the result of a male tiger mating with a female Lion. The majority of this mating, however, takes place in captivity or is artificially inseminated, and does not occur in the wild.
