Explanation:

You want to use the distance formula: d =
\sqrt{(x2 - x1)^(2) + (y2 - y1)^(2) }

so, to start, fill in what you know.
\sqrt{(-3 - -2)^(2)+ (-1 - 0)^(2) }

now we are going to simplify what we have. if you have minus a negative number, the negatives cancel out, and sow we actually add -3 and the --2 turns into 2. (so -3 + 2)


\sqrt{(-1)^(2)+ (-1)^(2) }

now we can square these
√(1+1)

and now we have to keep going and we get this:
√(2)

so the distance between the two points is
√(2)!
