heads: 50% chance
heads: 25% chance
heads: 12.5% chance
heads: 6.25% chance
When calculating the probability of an event happening consecutively, you cant to find the percentage or fraction chance of it happening and multiply it by itself however many times you plan that event to happen over and over. For example, if on a multiple choice test with 4 answer choices I want to answer the next 3 questions right by pure guessing. One of the answers is right, obviously so it’s a 25% or 1/4 chance. To happen consecutively, I would need to multiply 0.25 x 0.25 x 0.25 = 0.015625. Multiply that answer by 100 and you have your true chance.
