Answer: x =750

Explanation:

Well you just make 3 and 400 a fraction 3/400 and 100,000 and the unknown number a fraction x/100,000. Now you do :

3/400=x/100,000

and figure that out :

3/400=x/100,000

3/400=x/100,000

(3)*(100000)=x*(400)

300000=400x

400x=300000

400x/400=300000/400

x=750 is your answer.

3/400=750/100,000.
