The area of the sector is 11.8m². ( option D)

A sector is a cut part of circle. A sector is bounded by two radii and an arc. We have the major and minor sector.

The area of a sector is expressed as;

A = x/360 × πr²

where x is the angle substended

angle = 150

radius = 3m

A = 150/360 × 3.14 × 3²

A = 11.78 m²

A = 11.8 m²

Therefore the area of the sector is 11.8m²

Answer:

(150)/(360) * \pi * {3}^(2) \\ 2.4 * \pi * 9 = 11.780 {m}^(2)
