3/4 of a gallon in the pitcher

because if 1/4 fills 1/3 of the pitcher then 3 , 1/4 of a gallon can fill the pitcher , so 3*1/4 = 3/4

Lets assume x is a full pitcher.

The 1/4 of a gallon occupies 1/3x (or 1/3 of the pitcher)

To get a full pitcher, you would multiply x by 3 (or 1/4 • 3)

FINAL ANSWER: 3/4 Gallons
