2x - 2y = 2 and x - y = 1
Is this problem equivalent or not ?

Answer:

Equivalent

Explanation:

Because x - y = 1 would have to be 3 - 2 to say and if you go 2(3) - 2(2) you are going to get 2.

if you divide everything by 2 then yes otherwise no its not
