The area of a circle is 49 pi m2 what is the radius?

So area is equal to pi(r)^2. Plug the number into A and solve for r

49(pi)=pi)(r)^2

Divide out the pi and you get r^2=49

Find the square root of 49 which would give you +- 7. It’s important to remember 7 is both positive and negative
