The phenotype is P . This is because it follows Mendels first law

The phenotype is “P”.

This is because it follows Mendel’s first law (law of dominance) which states, “when a cross is made between a pair of pure contrasting characters, only one of them is able to express itself phenotypically while the other remains hidden in the F1 generation.”

Hence here white(p) is not seen phenotypically due to the existence of dominant, purple(P).
