Explanation:

The formula for slope is: (y2-y1)÷(x2-x1)

substitute the two given points to find the slope

so if you get the answer for slope as, say L or 5

then y=Lx+c or y=5x+c is the equation in slope intercept form

Then substitute one of the points in x and y's place to find the value of slope intercept (c in the previous equation)

say you get 8 then the standard equation will be y=5x+8
