Ten tiles numbered 1 through 10 are placed in a bag. You randomly choose one tile. Without replacing the first tile, you randomly choose a second tile. Find the probability of choosing the 6 and then a number greater than 3. Write your answer as a fraction in simplest form.

S= {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10}


\therefore n(S) = 10

Let A be the event of getting 6.

A = {6}


\therefore n(A) = 1\\</p><p>P(A) = (n(A))/(n(S)) = (1)/(10)

Let B be the event of getting a number greater than 3.

B = {4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10}


\therefore n(B) = 7\\</p><p>P(B) = (n(B))/(n(S)) = (7)/(10)
