I woke up at my usual time, preparing myself for the harsh temperatures that await for me outside. It was January, the coldest month of the year. With an average high-temperature of 18.9° C and an average low-temperature of 9°C. I just wanted to sleep all day, but I couldn’t. Being a young Egyptian man, I had the job of being a Scribe. I hated work and doing everything other than being with my friends and doing nothing. Even though it was freezing out, I had a job to do.
