For this case we must find the solution of the following equation:

2x-1 = 3x + 2

If we subtract 3x from both sides of the equation we have:

2x-3x-1 = 2

Different signs are subtracted and the major sign is placed

-x-1 = 2

We add 1 to both sides of the equation:

-x=2+1\\-x=3

We multiply by -1 on both sides of the equation:

x = -3

So, the solution is
x = -3

Answer:

x = -3
