Next create a proportion for the 6% sales tax: x/449.6=6/100(about $27)

Add that to the remaining amount after subtracting his contractors discount.($476.6)

Next, make a proportion for the 2% discount he receives from the credit card company: x/476.6=2/100($9.53) Subtract that from 476.6: $467.07(answer)
