The surface area of the given right angled triangular prism is 60 square centimeters (
cm^(2)).

Explanation:

The given is,

Right angled triangular prism

Step:1

Surface area of triangular prism,

Surface area of prism = Sum of area of each sides.........(1)

Step:2

Area of Triangular face,

= (1)/(2)(base)(height)

= (1)/(2) (3)(4)

=(1)/(2) (12)

= 6 cm^(2)

In right angled triangular have two triangular faces,

= (2)(6)

=12 cm^(2)

Step:3

Area of sloping rectangular face,

=lb

=(4)(5)

=20 cm^(2)

Step:4

Area of back side
=(4)(3)

=12cm^(2)

Step:5

Area of bottom side
=(4)(4)

=16cm^(2)

From the equation (1),

=12+20+12+16

= 60cm^(2)

Result:

The surface area of the given right angled triangular prism is 60 square centimeters (
cm^(2)).
