Answer:

Diamond should use 385 grams of egg whites and 286 grams of sugar.

Explanation:

Given:

Diamond current recipe calls for 110 g flour.

As, we have to use the baker's percentage ratio which is missing, so below the figure is attached.

Now, to find the grams of egg whites and sugar.

According to the baker's percentage ratio 100% of flour is 110g flour.

So, the ratio is :

100% : 110 g.

On simplifying it:

1% : 1.1 g.

As, egg whites is 350% in percentage ratio and sugar is 260% in percentage ratio.

Now, to get the grams of egg whites and sugar we set proportion and solve by using cross multiplication method:

Let the grams of egg whites be
x.

(1)/(1.1) =(350)/(x)

By cross multiplying we get:

x=385\ grams.

Thus, the egg whites is 385 grams.

Let the grams of sugar be
y.

(1)/(1.1) =(260)/(y)

By cross multiplying we get:

y=286\ grams.

Hence, the sugar is 286 grams.

Therefore, Diamond should use 385 grams of egg whites and 286 grams of sugar.
