To get the percent change, take the final value (100) - initial value (2) and divide the difference by the initial value (2) and multiply the quotient by 100 to get the percent increase.

100 - 2 = 98

98 / 2 = 49.

49 * 100 = 4900%

There was a 4,900% increase
