Find the area and the circumference of a circle with diameter 3ft.

Area= 7.065ft^2

Circumference= 9.42ft

Explanation:

The area of a circle is,

area=Pi*r^2

and the circumference,

circumference=2*Pi*r

with r being the diameter/2

so we get,

area=(3.14)(1.5)^2=7.065ft^2

circumference=2(3.14)(1.5)=9.42ft
