Answer:

Volume of the cone = 628 cubic inches.

Explanation:

Given:

Height of the traffic cone,
h = 2 feet = 24 inches ...[1 feet =12 inches]

Diameter of the cone,
d = 10 inches

Radius of the cone,
r = 5 inches ...[
r=(d)/(2)]

Value of pie,
\pi = 3.14

We have to find the approximate volume.

Lets say that the volume is
V .

Formula:

Volume of a cone =
(\pi r^2h)/(3)

So,

V=(\pi r^2h)/(3)

Plugging the values.

V=(3.14* 5^2* 24)/(3)

V=(3.14* 25* 24)/(3)

V=628
inches^3

The volume of the orange traffic cone is 628 inches^3.
