1. the idea of limited government is that all different levels of government are only able to perform certain powers that the constitution clearly allows
2. it is the full supper or a republic system in government
3. checks and balances are a way for each branch of the government to review what every other branch is doing and is basically a way to ensure that everything is running smoothly
4. federalism is way for the state’s to make sure the federal government is strictly going by its enumerated powers in the constitution and its another check on the governments system
5. the way our government is set up, it needs each branch to function meaning that the legislative, executive, and judicial branches all have equal rule and no one branch can dominate the others
6. popular sovereignty is the bases of our government and its gives the final power to the people
7. all civil liberties and civil rights are protected by the Bill of Rights which makes it very difficult for the government to interfere with the citizens liberties and rights
hope this helps :)
