= 11

Since 24 pairs of football boots were sold. Ratio of sales of football boots = 6

Therefore fraction of football boots sold that month = ratio of football boots/total ratio of boots, x

= 6/11

Let y be the total number of boots dold in the month.

Fraction of football boots sold × total number of boots sold = 24

6/11 × y = 24

y = 24 × 11/6

= 44 boots.

Total number of pairs of boots sold = 44 pairs of boots
