How can you find the side of a triangle only using angles 33 degrease, 49 degrees, and 98 degrees, and one side which is 100m. I only need to know the side opposite to 33 degrees but, I’ve been doing online school and my teacher can barely teach this is actually the most I’ve learned all year so I can’t ask him. If someone could help me out thank you so much!!

Answer: x = 72.2

Step-by-step explanation: You have to use Law of Sines. If you don’t know what that is, it’s when you have sin times an angle measure divided by the opposite side length. You set up two of these and make them equal to each other with one unknown. (In this case it would be the side length. So, your equation would look like this: sin49 over 100 = sin33 over x. You are then tryin to solve for x. So, you can use cross multiplication to get

xsin49 = 100sin33. Then divide by sin49 to get x by itself. You would then have x = 100sin33 over sin49. Then you can use your calculator and plug it in to get 72.16 rounding it to 72.2.

Answer:

72.17 m to the nearest hundredth.

Explanation:

It is sin not cos.

We use the Sine Rule to do this

a / sin A = b / sin C = c / sin C.

Here we have:

100 / sin 49 = x / sin 33

x = 100 * sin 33 / sin 49

= 72.17 m.
