Zeus is the king of Olympus, doubling as the king of all gods. Strongest of all gods, he is the god of thunder and the sky.

Athena is a product of Zeus’s thought, becoming the embodiment of thinking and this the goddess of wisdom. She was also the goddess of war as she came out of Zeus’ head wearing full clothed armours. It is said to be that Greek economy relied heavily on war, making Athena a perfect fit as they saw it as wise and clever. Athena had no mother but was still named as the daughter of Zeus.

Zeus takes responsibility as the ruler of earth. Athena gifts those in war with wisdom and daunt. Zeus can control the weather and uses the lightning bolt as his weapon, while Athena is pictured holding a spear and a shield with Medusa’s head carved on it. Zeus likes to get busy with women, while Athena focuses on the values of arts and crafts. Zeus is the patron god of Olympia where the Olympus is held in Ancient Greece, while Athena is the patron god of Athens which was one of the most progressive and powerful city in Ancient Greece.

Hope this helps!
