The Axolotl is a species of salamander native to only one lake in the world. The most common colors are pink or brown but there is a rare morph that makes them pink on one side and brown on the other, split from nose to tail. There are many cool facts about these little creatures and i will list some facts, the morphs, and the scientific data for them at the end. But did you know they are one of if not the only animal on earth to have lungs and gills throughout their entire lifetime? Yeah those things sticking out of their head are actually their gills that let them breathe underwater. But they are a endangered species meaning there are not a lot of them left in the wild. Which is sad because they are so adorable. there are less than 100 left in the wild as of 2022. There are more dots here(....................................................................................................) than axolotls in the wild! that was 100 dots. But anyway here are the facts about them.
