The answer for number two is 52.5 sq ft

The answer for number three is 139.25 sq ft

Explanation:

In the first figure we can see three different shapes, two triangles and one rectangle. To get the area of the figure we can add the area of the square to the area of triangle one and add that to triangle two.

area rectangle: 4·11=44

triangle one: 1/2(2·3)=3

triangle two: 1/2(3·3)=9/2

now we add

44+3=47

47+9/2=105/2=52.5

For the second figure we can use the same method

area square: 10·10=100

area semicircle: 1/2(3.14·5²)=39.25

add

139.25
