For this case we have that by definition, the equation of a line of the point-slope form is given by:

y-y_ {0} = m (x-x_ {0})

Where:

m: It is the slope of the line

(x_ {0}, y_ {0}): It is a point that belongs to the line

According to the data of the statement we have to:

m = - \frac {7} {5}\\(x_ {0}, y_ {0}) :( 5,4)

Substituting in the equation we have:

y-4 = - \frac {7} {5} (x-5)

Answer:

y-4 = - \frac {7} {5} (x-5)
