R = (v^2 sin2\theta)/(g)

here we have


R = 55 m


\theta = 20^o

v = 40 m/s

55 = (40^2 sin40)/(g)


g = 18.7 m/s^2

now for maximum height we have


H = (v^2sin^2\theta)/(2g)


H = (40^2 sin^220)/(2(18.7))


H = 5 m
