A. It goes back into the soil.

Explanation: Plant body is made of nitrogen elements which is the basic structural component of amino acids and enzymes present in the plants body. When the plants die, decomposers such as bacteria and fungi etc feed on these dead bodies and broken down into simpler substances. This nitrogen is converted into ammonia and mixes with the soil. This ammonia is again used by the plants through roots.
