log4 (4p) = log4 (2p + 10)

We know that loga (b) = loga (c) then a =c

4p = 2p+10

Subtract 2p from each side

4p-2p =2p+10-2p

2p =10

Divide each side by 2

2p/2= 10/2

p =5
