Answer:

11.4 units

Explanation:

b/sinB = a/sinA

b/sin(42) = 17/sin(88)

b = sin(42) × 17/sin(88)

b = 11.38215401

Answer:

Explanation:

Use the law of sines.

(sin A)/(a) = (sin B)/(b) \\

Plug values in.

(sin88)/(17) = (sin42)/(b)\\

Cross multiply.

bsin88 = 17sin42\\b = 11.38

Hope that helps.
