Answer:

1) 500mg/1000 = 0.5g of salt. So, 200mg of sodium equals 500 mgs or 0.5g of salt.

2) 6540 multiply the mass value by 1000

3) Instead of 80kg im thinking that you ment g

Weight of box = 4 kilograms

1 kg = 1000 g

4kg = 1000*4 = 4000 grams

Therefore,

Weight of box = 4000 g

Weigh of one orange = 80 grams

Let,

x be the number of oranges in box.

80x=4000

Dividing both sides by 80

There are 50 oranges in the box.

4) 30weeks

Explanation:

From the question given,

Peter's weight = 105kg

Now, Peter wants to lose 500g per week i.e

Peter wishes to lose = 500/1000 = 0.5kg per week.

The mass losed by Peter = 105 —90 = 15kg

Now if Peter losed 0.5kg in 1week, then he will lose 15kg in = 15/0.5 = 30weeks

Therefore, it will take Peter 30 weeks to have a mass of 90kg
