4(BC)+BC=75 Add like numbers

4(BC)+BC=5BC

5(BC)=75 get the variable(BC) alone by dividing both sides by the number(5)

5(BC)/5=75/5 Then simplify....5(BC)/5=(BC) and 75/7=15

(BC)=15
