Answer:

Check Explanation.

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the New International Version(NIV), the verse 34 of chapter 23 in the book of Luke in the Bible says that;

''Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”[a] And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.''

According to the New International Version(NIV), the verse 60 of chapter 7 in the book of Luke in the Bible says that;

''Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep.''

The similarity in the prayers of Stephen and Jesus at the time of their deaths was that both of them ask God to forgive those that partook in their death. That is to say both of them says the prayer of forgiveness.

The difference in the prayers of Stephen and Jesus at the time of their deaths was that after the prayer Stephen slept(died) but Jesus clothes was divided.

Stephen's prayer was at the point that he was about to give up the ghost but it was not last saying of the Jesus Christ.

Answer:

Luke 23:34 says: "Then Jesus said , Father, forgive them; for they know not what they are doing, and they parted his raiment, and cast lots."

Acts 7:60 says: "And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep"

Both Jesus and Stephen prayed for God to forgive the sinners ( their killers at that time) but the differences in their prayers was that Jesus did not fall asleep after praying while stephen fell asleep. Also, Jesus said they were ignorant of their sins while Stephen didn't say they were ignorant.
