In the “The Gospel of Wealth” Andrew Carnegie said “Neither the individual nor the race is improved by almsgiving.”

Do you agree or disagree? Why?

Answer:

Disagree. While almsgiving in a way does prevent an individual from doing something themselves, an act of charity is often needed in a situation its given.
